How it works: Online Appointment Booking

  1. The medical staff creates availabilities for each doctor.
  2. These availabilities are offered to the doctor’s patients, and potentially to other patients based on configuration settings.
  3. When the patient selects the reason of visit, the duration required will be defined according to the appointment type related to the reason of visit.
  4. The system proposes time slots by increments of the defined duration within the schedule of availability of the medical resource (e.g. for a 30-minutes appointment: 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am...)
  5. Once the patient confirms the date and time, an appointment with the relevant patient information and appointment type will be created in the EMR.
